Today we are making and using embellishments using your ScanNCut to make beautiful Autumnal cards.

I have used a background that I created using Tim Holtz Distress Mica Stains; some 300gsm Papermill Direct All Media card; white and orange card; a pre-folded card blank, and some left over foam board.
First, I started by cutting my embellishments out of the background piece I made earlier in the week. Having chosen a selection of leaves, I then use my background scan function to make sure all my chosen embellishments fit on to my background.
Once I am happy with the location, I used my Vinyl Auto-blade to cut them out. When finished, I remove the background and embellishments from my mat.

Now, it is time to start layering up my design. I started by adhering the background and orange piece of card together, giving my background a nice border.
Next, I took my white card and cut a background pattern out using a leaf design in various sizes and angles.

After this had cut i added the foam board to the back to give my card some extra dimension. I then adhered this to my original background.

With this done I was now ready to add my embellishments to the top of the white sheet to decorate.

I added my leaves and finished off the card with some glitter glue.
Here is the finished card.
