Country Reflections / Out of the Trees

These two new stamp designs from Chocolate Baroque, and their accompanying worker stamp “Elements” sets, are perfect for mens crafting and projects. ‘Country Reflections’ features woodland, a country cottage and a pond or lake. The accompanying ‘Elements’ set features a compass, onions, map background, owl, three ring circle, and an oak branch with acorns. All of which are pulled from the main stamp to give the set a co-hesive look. ‘Out of the Trees’ features a train, dry stone wall, woodland with a stag and frog. The ‘Elements’ set features the train, a group of trees, dry stone wall, text circle, stag, 22 and text background.

Project Notes

These stamps are perfect for mixed media, collage style projects for art journalling, canvases and so much more. The theme can be masculine, or use softer tones for feminine cards.

You don’t have to use the whole of the image either. There are loads of break points where you can crop the image without it looking cropped. This means you can create projects in lots of size formats.

Techniques

These stamps work great combined with a gel plate or inky plate. Not only as a textural effect, but you can also create reflections for your images. You can then draw in the water’s edge using a fineliner; particularly with the land features of Country Reflections, and the whole of Out of the Trees.
