Project Notes
I love the style of this stamp set; traditional while being perfect for journalling which inspired one of my favourite projects of all my DT work…

The “Mistletoe Script” stamp set features a background stamp with an overlaid mistletoe motif, a mistletoe worker stamp, “Christmas Kisses” sentiment, Mistletoe title with the Latin name, and a verse stamp. This combination is great for giving you so many layout options; manufactured from high quality grey rubber, these stamps enable many different techniques including heat based and moulding approaches.
The above sample is coloured with alcohol markers in 3 shades: work from dark to light.

You can highlight elements of the stamps such as the mistletoe berries in the above project. This could be with dimensional paint, embossing powder or glitter glue. Combining the focal image with a larger die cut background turns a background stamp into the star of the show.

Why not cut into images too, whether with dies, scissors, trimmers or electronic cutting machines. As crafters we tend to follow the outlines without questioning how we might change designs by cropping into them. In the above sample, you can see how we can change the effect of the background stamp with just a basic shape die. Now try that same piece layered onto a slightly larger circle for a card front or scrapbook layout.
This gallery post updates as we create further card projects using this great stamp set. Be sure to check back frequently for new project ideas. We are also adding new galleries all the time with new stamp sets, dies and crafting collections.
